Episode 71 - Izzy Gandarilla

Hey hey, I have been looking forward to this episode since the first time I met Izzy.

Izzy Gandarilla is the founder of the Neuro-Yoga Institute training program as a 500 level-licensed yoga instructor and over a decade of yoga practice. Her aim is to help individuals on their journey to achieve their best state of health through a connection of mind, body and breathe.

Izzy teaches yoga internationally in Spanish, Italian, and English. She currently developed a program to increase yoga participation among the Spanish-speaking communities of Chicagoland.  In addition to her yoga practice, Izzy is a plant-based chef and lifestyle supervisor. She published Vegan Milks in 2017 in Ecuador in both English and Spanish.

That marathon story still shocks me, that she thought she could run without training.

Anyway, I will say that since our recording my husband has been taking her yoga classes twice a week and did her breath work workshop. He was having some anxiety and rapid heart rate and her classes and workshop has done wonders for him. He said he has learned SO MUCH about himself since starting to learn how to breath better. So….if you haven’t started following yet, check out her studio & join a class.

In other news….I started something new.
