Episode 15 - Anabelle Martinez

Hola hola amigas!

Ok I’m just going to get into it, this episode is filled with lots of wisdom around health and wellness through the lens of entrepreneurship.

I interviewed Anabelle about a month ago, and I’m so thankful she said yes to an interview. She  is a powerhouse of an entrepreneur and shares so much wisdom when it comes to building a business with the intention of empowering her staff and equipping them with leadership skills and forming a strong community. These are all critical things when building a business to make sure the environment you’re creating is one of joy and happiness, where your employees feel a sense of belonging, which we are learning is so important for a person’s mental health. A job can be so draining on ones life that it consumes all other areas as well.

She also shares wisdom when it comes to protecting your mental health as a business owner, because I KNOW IT IS HARD, but if we don’t take care of ourselves, our businesses won’t survive either.

All of her businesses, Maestri Tutoring, Juice Vibe Bar, and Buzzi Space are founded on developing healthy habits as well as supporting others in the community, I hope you enjoy my chat with Anabelle from Juice Vibe Bar.

Isn’t it amazing how Anabelle built each business because she saw a need in the community. She listened to struggles that people were having and she’s finding ways to fulfill those needs. I love how her businesses encourage and support the mental health of the youngest with her tutoring as she aims to build relationship and give the youth a safe space. I also love how she built these businesses and is still always striving to give back, teach others, and empower them to make a difference no matter how small in their own lives.

Health and wellness truly should be the foundation of how we choose to live our lives. So let’s get after this week with intention of fueling our bodies, making drinking enough water fun, and looking to empower others around us.
